- Financial Analyst (MUST BE LOCAL)
Description
Adecco Staffing is assisting a local client who is looking for a
highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join their finance team at a large manufacturing plant.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Excel, financial modeling, and modern analytical tools, and will play a key role in supporting the Finance Leader with comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, CapEx oversight, and inventory management.
This position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys driving financial performance, process improvement, and cost efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in cost accounting, controllership, or financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros, financial modeling).
Excellent organization, and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Spotfire, Smartview and Hyperion
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Site Finance Leader in preparing, analyzing, and distributing key financial reports.
Assist in developing financial forecasts and annual budgets.
Create and maintain Excel-based and system-driven financial models.
Create and maintain Smartsheet, Hyperion and/ or Spotfire driven reports
Vouchering, IME, absenteeism & OT weekly reporting
Assist in entering, validating, and tracking capital investment requests in Smartsheet and pace actuals vs. planned investments.
Assist in Asset Management updates namely CIP (Construction in Process), QAR (Quarterly Asset Reviews), Tagging
Partner with supply chain, cost/CMS and production teams to ensure accurate valuation of inventory
Monitor inventory turnover, Aged WIP and obsolescence trends.
Collaborate with CMS team to ensure accurate reporting of measured and non-measured parts
Prepare weekly expense reports for both Headquarters and plant operations teams, highlighting week-over-week expense variations and providing detailed explanations for significant changes.
Collaborate closely with operations leaders to review departmental costs, identify drivers of variance, and ensure expenses align with budget expectations.
Work with Bullet Train and expense accounts to analyze cost trends, identify inefficiencies
Identify and support initiatives to reduce costs
Support analysis of T&L, transportation & assessments.
This position is Monday-Friday with an opportunity for OT as needed.
Salary is $40.00- $44.00 an hour based on experience. This is a long-term position that is expected to last 18 months.
