Registered Nurse Manager

IMCU / STEPDOWN / ACUTE STROKE

This role will manage the full responsibilities of an inpatient acute care IMCU hospital Unit. at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center

The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operation.

Shift: Days (flexible)

The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations, including scheduling, evaluations, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  3 y rs or more of RECENT Nursing Leadership in a acute care hospital setting REQUIRED
  
  
• 
  Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
  
  
• 
  RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED
  
  

Education

• RN-Bachelor's Degree, or
  
• RN-Master's Degree
  

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
